Reproduction of 18th century box style tape loom. I took this is trade and never used it. Tape looms were used in 18th and 19th century to make narrow tapes and ties for clothing, bag straps, garters etc. All parts of the loom are 3/4 oak except for the paddles, they are 3/8 oak. Box measures 20 long, 9 1/2 wide and 4 tall. Heddle board is 15 1/2 tall and 8 wide. Heddle board has 14 slots and 13 holes. Just one row of holes. There are 4 paddles on the warp reel. 12 between reel and heddle board. It is assembled with brass flat head screws and they are recessed. These could be removed and pegged if you want purity. One upper corner of the heddle was damaged and repaired by sanding smooth. Price: $100.00 plus shipping.
