Republican movements across Australia have failed to take root in the hearts and minds of Australians. The Republic having positioned itself in opposition with Monarchy, is bogged down in a type of siege warfare. The Republicans tactical failure to dislodge the encumbent and the stalemate that continues is a serious blunder. Peoples genuine fears of the unknown quantity in contrast with something that works can only flavor the Monarchy. Its historical weigh and perceived functionality is quite secure in Australia while this confrontation continues. Although the Monarchists sit high and safe upon walls of tradition. Having fended off the Republicans on multiple occasions, the Monarchists hubris is breathtaking as too, their arrogance is great. The failure of the Republican movement, my view, goes to a lack of sincerity and integrity. They fight amongst themselves like thieves chassing the golden goose. Republicans have taken their eye off the ball and play by rules they cannot change. Apparently both sides focus purely on political ends. Both are ignorant of peoples legitimate concerns and, both Monarchists and Republicans fail for their exclusively. They seem oblivious to the corrosive flaw which ensures the status quo of entrenched class ideology. It appears no real distinctive differences exist between the two opposing camps. The Australian Peoples Constitution Act is unique. Our principles rest upon universal human rights. Political science flows out of this understanding of Human decency and respect. The political arrangements that follow means all successive Government is established to protect and enforce these rights above all. Anywhere and everytime. In the end it doesnt matter which group prevails. It does matter that our Constitution of the Australian People proscribes Universal Human Rights as its founding principles. Its a different view about our World and our future. Take a look for yourself. There are no corners. (JAT)
