This is a request for the Narc Decoder: I am in total disbelief of the response I received from my ExN tonight after I texted him and asked why our son was not in school yesterday. This is the THIRD time in the past two months that his father has allowed him to skip school. Me: Why did he not go to school yesterday? I could have picked him up after school if your parents were not going to be home in time. Its frustrating to me that I am not notified when he does not go to school, even more, when he skips school. On top of everything, I told him I could have gotten him from school and he told me No, because it wasnt your time with me. I tell him school is important and he needs to go and then he skips school during your parenting time. ExNs Repsonse: I do not need your permission to make decisions! I do not need to inform you of decisions I make! If your son does not want to spend more time with you then he has to then I would suggest taking a step back and figuring out why! Do not speak to me as if you deserve a mother of the year award. I am not here for your frustrations. I owe you nothing and you would do well to remember it! I would like to note that his comment about our son not wanting to spend time with me is HIS opinion. I have been taking our son to a counselor who says otherwise. I am considering filing a violation for ExN not following our Order regarding family counseling as ExN has not attended any sessions at all and clearly we need counseling. I would also like the counselor to see ExNs true colors as he showed tonight.
