Rescue report for the week ending June 28th 17 dogs (12 rescue 5 personal) on site and everyone is doing grand. Charlie remains in the kitchen partially due to the stool issue which has improved and yes I admit partially because I have very fond of him. There is a chance I will move at least one of the other kennels of his siblings into the kitchen this week so we can begin socialization skills with them all full force this week. Jack has started rotating out with Nash which is a biggy as even tho he has been ready for his forever home for a few months this means the options open to him are even greater (obviously he is able to get along with more than just Tonks Tonks is scheduled for her spay on the 11th of July *************************************************************************************** Mastiff5 - Marley, Montana,, Max, Mara & Midnight The 3 boys who have not been spoken for will be ready for their forever homes come the end of July and all 5 continue growing right on schedule . Their next round of shots is (if I remember correctly) in 2 weeks and then I will allow the foster to take them all the way out the door to explore the yard ***************************************************************************************** Mason got neutered last week and has gone on to the trainers where he will begin working on basic obedience this week. Trainer has stated tho (and I do agree) that most of Mason s issues are truly related to just being in toddlerhood. Midge is still in need of long term experienced foster home or experienced adoptive home. If anyone knows of someone looking for a great girl for their new best friend please drop me (or the rescue) a line here on Facebook The 8 small dogs we pulled from Taylorsville last week - Ollie, Rufus, Callie, Lila, Momma (still unnamed) and her 3 babies are showing improvement. Ollie and Rufus will be seen by our vet Dr Beth at Cornerstone Vet today(June 30th) to try to determine the origin of their skin issues ********************************************************************************************** Hunter is more than ready to move on to his forever home - what a handsome hound he is . Application may be obtained from MurphysRescue and a home visit and 100 adoption fee is required ********************************************************************************************** Hs crew (who we pick up the vetting for) has shown great improvement. So far in 2014 we have gotten Flip, Sissy and Itchy vetted and will continue until they have all been seen. Our next trip to the vets is for our own Tonks and she is too hard to handle with another dog involved so she will make the tris tp solo but the following week we will choose the next dog of Harolds to go down with either Chrissy or Annie who are both in need of their yearly rabies ********************************************************************************************** MuprhysRescue of Mc Kee KY is not 501c3 but if any donator cares to inquire as to where their donation is spent all you have to do is ask. Donations for basic care of all dogs we care for can be made via pay pal to designer_at_heart@yahoo. Mastiff5 have their own fund raiser - the link is on the rescues FB page as is the wish list for inhouse dogs and Mastiff5
