Rest in peace Sabbou7ha ♡♡♡As a kid growing up in Beirut I used to watch Sabah on tv nearly everyday. And it was still in black and white ! This icon of Lebanese folklore is responsible for my hips swaying and my heart jumping with joy to the beats of her lively Lebanese songs and unrivalled shows. Till this day I am unable to hear her music without getting up to dance. Sabah epitomises the energy, joy, freedom and playfulness of the Lebanese folkloric style. Sabouhha you are a part of Lebanon that many will never know except through the eternal legacy of your music. This legacy will live on forever as a testimony to the golden era of Lebanon. An era of which you were the queen. I love you Sabbouh7a. Thank you for the joy you have given me and millions of others. It is still one of my favourites ..in it Saba7h invites everyone to get up and do the dabke and show everyone the joy it can bring.
