Result Saturday 29th June Banbridge Rangers 0-0 Killymoon Rangers Banbridge Rangers took part in their first pre season friendly yesterday at Cheney Park against Killymoon Rangers who play in IFA Championship 2. The match ended goalless but was a relatively physical and competitive game and provided a good workout for the squad. Andy Frazer had several new faces debuting for Banbridge Rangers including goalkeeper Davy Crawford, defender Jeff McClure, midfielder Jonny Gilchrist and wide men Ryan McIlroy and Craig McVicker. Neither side created many clear cut chances in thre first half but the Banbridge players did look sharp and hungry for the ball. In the second half rafts of changes to both teams killed some of the fluency of the game with Banbridge Rangers unfortunate not to snatch a winner late on in the game with several shots from close range failing to hit the target. Next Saturday will see IFA Premiership team Ards travel to Cheney Park to play Banbridge Rangers with kick off at 3.00pm. #ourseason
