The Lord Jesus told of the signs of the end times in Luke 21:26, explaining that People will be so frightened that they will faint because of what is happening to the world (CEV). The evens we see in many nations today are indication of the gross of darkness that has enveloped the world: economic recessions, health epidemics, wars, natural disasters and terrorism. These and more have taken their toll on many, with many nations grasping under the thraldom of these perilous times. However, if youre in Christ, you have nothing to fear, because in Him, youre insulated from pestilence in this world, including inflation and harsh economic conditions. The Lord Jesus said in John 16:33, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Refuse to allow your heart to be troubled by the many ills plaguing todays world, for you’re not of this world! God has separated you from the world, and given you a life that’s beyond sickness, disease, inflation and all other negative influences. Youre in Christ, and therefore positioned for advantage in life. It makes no difference the degree of hardship in the world today; see them as your opportunities to shine in a dark world. Job 22:29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up.... Theres lifting up for you in Christ. So, cheer up, for Christ in you is your hope of an extraordinary life in this world. Our opening scripture is definite; the knowledge is for certain that all things work together for the good of the one who’s in Christ. That means nothing can be set to your disadvantage if youre born again. God has ordained your life in such a way that no challenge can overwhelm you; you’re a victor in Christ Jesus. Walk in the light of your victory over Satan, the world, and the circumstances of life! Confession Christ in me the hope of a triumphant and glorious today, and an excellent and successful future because in Him l live, and move, and have my being; my life is secure in Him who causes all things to work together for my good!
