Rich Mullins hit it big with this song he wrote and recorded in 1988 in Nashville. He wrote for Amy Grant. He wrote for himself and the world. He never knew how much money he made or had as he instructed his accounts to give it to churches and charities and pay him the salary of an average man. He lived simply and rarely wore shoes. He died in 1997 in a car accident and I just watched a movie about him called Ragamuffin which I plucked off a shelf in Wal-Mart. I recommend it highly and indeed, God is An Awesome God!!
