Richard Wilkinson: How economic inequality harms societies (TED talk) “Any city, however small, is in fact divided into two, one the city of the poor, the other of the rich; these are at war with one another.” –Plato (427-347 B.C.) Great talk, but I was not too impressed by the use of GNP per capita in his argument. I would have preferred to see cost of living taken into account, perhaps by using Disposable Income per capita instead.
