Richards Morning Prayer December 19th, 2014 Lord, you do more for us than we ever know. As we walk into the beauty of this morning, you have a prepared a place for us to be the bearers of your kingdom. Though we may be tired, distracted, and consumed with the celebrations of Christmas; you help us to realize that you are with us, Emmanuel, in the midst of everything we think we cannot see beyond. You are with us when our strength falters. You are with us when we feel overwhelmed. You are with us in moments of unexpected joy. You are with us when we believe ourselves to be alone. When we see nothing, you see light. Your Holy Spirit circles our days and guards our nights. Grant us wisdom to forgive and seek forgiveness. Be with us this day, as we renew our desire to serve you and your kingdom. As you accompany us, may we become witnesses of your presence to the lives of others; those who cannot cry for help, those ignored, the grieving, and the sick. As we seek the joy of Christmas, may we find the truth of eternity. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
