Right, Calling all Rock and Bluesers!! Heres your chance to get your hands on a piece of the 30th Anniversary memorabilia to beat all Rock memorabilia and to raise money for the air ambulance!! Click on the link below to see this item but if you want to know now what it is now read on: You are bidding on a unique piece or Rock Memorabilia. This Year the Derby Rock and Blues Old School Weekender celebrated its 30th Anniversary and its compere The Dr (From Dr and the Medics) celebrated his 25th. The Rock and Blues has sporadically been the home of the legendary Cheese Game over the years. This is the game whereby bands name their favorite cheese and, under a complex and often shifting set of rules and arbitrary decisions by the referee (The Dr), try to out wit the other bands to become the ultimate Cheese Champions!!! Its a much coveted award within the music industry and many bands have retired after winning, knowing that their career will never again reach such heights!! There have been many classic moments over the years, who can ever forget Motorheads Classic choice of Leaddamer!!! This years competition was a classic, there is too much to write about here but the highlights were East Town Pirates brave, almost reckless choice of Emental so early on a Friday night!! State Of Quo played a blinding Dairy Lee. Saturday got pumped up straight away when the New Generation Super Stars shook the stadium by not only going for a hard cheese, so early in the evening, but a MATURE CHEDDAR!! Never has any band had the balls to play that one before 9pm and it almost paid off had Eddie and the Hot Rods not played a perfectly timed safety shot with Stilton. This left an open goal for Toseland!! All they had to do was go firm but flavorsome, it was theirs for the taking....... The stadium had a silent hush of great expectation..... However..... Great band as they are! Twice Superbike World champion he is!! I have to say this..... They know F**K all about cheese... Roquefort!!! the gasps of disappointment resounded around the stadium. However these were soon replaced by elation when the very knowledgeable crowd realized that playing such a soft cheese that late in the game introduced the obscure and often forgotten Dolche Rule, introduced in the 70s, that says that when such a move is made then texture and blandness get double points and a bonus if played after Halloumi (Wolfskin). So it was that the outsiders, The Decadence Dolls (Our dancers) came up on the outside with Cheese Strings!! A very risky cheese to play but the gamble played off!! Well done. You can relive this amazing weekend of Cheese (There was something about bikes and music as well) By bidding on this unique piece of memorabilia. In true Rock and Blues Spirit it is actually pretty worthless. And I may sign it as well to make it worth even less. But this is the Festival that raised almost £100 in the past for an inflatable guitar not signed by anyone that played Monsters Of Rock but instead by Jamie onstage, forging them all to request, WORTHLESS. Or over £50 by a drum skin not signed by the Counterfeit Stones, WORTHLESS and yet between them almost £150 for charity. The winning bidder will have this unique piece of rock memorabilia stuffed in an ordinary envelope with a first class stamp. Please ignore the rather dodgy scan of the pages, They actually look much worse in real life as I fell asleep with them in my pocket on Saturday night at the show. Happy bidding I should at this point mention that any money raised will be donated to the air ambulance, a charity we all support!! Happy bidding!! cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331288342907
