Right! Lets do this thing! Many thanks to all 15 people who came to the first Meeting . We kept it small to get the ball rolling with Jenni Thomas ,the Village Hall specialist from Powys CC. We have set up a temporary Action Committee to allow the paper-work to begin. Jenni stressed that the MOST important thing at this stage was collecting proof that the residents of Ynyswen will use a new Hall and field. We need to hurry to meet a grant deadline to pay for a Survey and Feasibility Report on the old Hall. Even if we choose to have no Hall the old one will need to be demolished soon and that will cost a lot.It seems likely there is Asbestos in there. A Questionnaire will soon come to your door about what you would want from a new Hall and Field ;PLEASE fill it out ;numbers of responses mean a lot. Our 1st Public Meeting will be soon.
