Right so Ive pretty much thought of Every possible scenario I could in which I would delve deep into the fathomless pits of self denial, and delusion of grandeur, and touch upon the addictive vices we attach ourselves to and become reliant upon. Drowning our sorrows in an extra Large tub of Ben and Jerrys ice cream . . For example! Im sure you are getting an inkling of just what Im trying to say, but to save you the confusion and give you an idea of just how my mind tends to work.. Ill just lay it out in lay mans terms. Im talking about Relation-ships, which come in many different flavours! Friend-ship, kin-ship, and partner-ships! These all carry weight, intricacies and simplicities of bonds forged and easily broken, trust issues being the main culprit! Lies. The seeds of deception sewn effortlessly yet deviously into the confines of our pysche! Is It Truly a natural reaction? And if so, does that mean its origin predates time itself? Where does it end?.. when it has no real beginning and simply a random, outburst in a spur of the moment altercation. I often wonder just how many people do it, without evening Realising the implications and ramifications it has as a collective, and the damage it causes, when deceived! In Truth, people who think that the lie is the truth and the truth is the lie.. are conditioned probably since birth to believe that its Normal and as such it doesnt affect their own personal lives, but sadly. The ones in their close inner circles are definitely Affected by the little lie which grows and grows and eventually gets so out of control it finds its resting place in a most distasteful manner. A person who has been lied to chronically will develop a gullibility that is obvious to those with a developed truth register but even the gullibility of others will be obscure to those with an undeveloped or weakened truth register of their own. In other words, compulsive liars see easy prey and Pounce when they know their target wont run from a fight, simply give in and be their meal. Bonds of friendships, love, and family ties are truly important in our lives, there isnt a finite or perfect, comforting answer as to why We Lie to those we Care For. But we should do our best to strengthen the ties which bind, and to remind ourselves each day whenever we falter. Mess up and feel guilty about something we said we truly didnt mean.. at the end of the day, were Only Human. We All make mistakes, its not about the actions one has committed but the devastating result of it. Many people say that there is always a good side and a bad side to a person. Well, when people who usually do mean things, suddenly do something nice, does that mean they redeem themselves? Our only redeeming way out, would be to confront the lies and spill the beans. For as the old saying goes The truth Shall set you Free You can run from the truth You can hide from the truth You can deny the truth But you cannot destroy the truth!
