Rob Donovan will find his problems intensifying next month after he worries that his murder weapon could be exposed. Rob (Marc Baylis) panics when he overhears Owen Armstrong and Gary Windass discussing a building job they are about to start at the same place where he disposed of the weapon he used to kill Tina McIntyre. After heading to the site, Rob desperately attempts to retrieve both the weapon and the stolen goods that he also disposed of, but he later runs into further trouble when returning to the street. In a bid to stop Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) from talking to Carla, a scheming Rob offers to drive him to the hospital to visit Peter. However, Rob is left terrified when his car is pulled over by the police, with the murder weapon and dodgy gear in the boot. Is his crime about to be uncovered? Coronation Street airs these scenes in an hour-long episode on Sunday, September 7 at 7pm on ITV.
