Robert had such a great day yesterday. It was a busy day so by evening he was pretty confused. We were setting out on the balcony and he looked down in the parking lot and saw the cars and he ask me if I drive. I told him yes and he wanted to know which one was mine I told him the silver truck. He said well if you dont mind will you drop me off at my house on your way home. Oh what I wouldnt do to do just that. I told him that if he works really hard and starts walking and and eating then I could do that. :) He set there for awhile longer and then he said I sure am dreading it. I ask what and he said climbing into that truck. He then ask if it would be alright if he just spent the night there and maybe just did it another time. I told him of course he probably needed some rest. He and I just smiled then. He later said he needed to get him a home when he left this home and we assured him he had one and then Brent showed him pictures of it and he said he really has a nice place. He really liked his shop. :) Every day he is just one step closer in healing. His blood clot is starting to dissolve and he has lost some of the fluid which helps. He went from 296 to 278 in the last week and half. He is gonna start trying to swallow again come Monday. He wasnt able to this week so they are feeding him through a port but hoping his throat is better. The trach irritated his throat so it hurts. Praying each day continues with such improvements.
