Robinwood Elementary celebrated the opening of their Buddy Bench at a special ribbon cutting ceremony today. The Buddy Bench is a designated seat that will be available at every recess throughout the year. If a child is feeling lonely or needs some friends to play with, he/she sits on the bench and that queues other students to invite the child to play. This program promotes new friendships and a positive learning environment and increased student interaction.
