Rochester, New York organized a Walk to End Poverty as part of the Campaign Nonviolence Week of Actions Sept 21-27th. They received great press in their local paper, too! About two dozen people assembled in downtown Rochester Saturday, marching to locations throughout downtown that work to reduce poverty and violence and also to call attention to the link between the poverty and violence.
