Rock Trivia Musician for today. Born in N.C. he has been associated with dozens of Georgia bands, groups and musicians and is still getting it today. He actually studied guitar in college in California. Came to fame with Col Bruce Hampton as lead and rhythm guitar player, and occasional sax player, where he met Oteil Burbridge and would later join him as a very short time one gig Brother in 1990 (hint, hint) He also did one CD with the Derek Trucks Band, in the 90s. He again became a Brother for 6 months in 2000. Left them for a better deal and more money and to be back in California to be in a reborn - rebuilt -renamed Grateful Dead band called Phil Lesh and Friends. After 5 years with Phil Lesh, he left to be 4 years in THE DEAD, another Grateful Dead reformed group. He left them after 4 years to go back to his old buddy Col Bruce Hampton and Jeff Sipp to play that crazy jazzy style of music in AQUARIUM RESCUE UNIT. Then he moved on to be with WIDESPREAD PANIC and he is with THE RINGERS today, hanging around Macon Georgia.
