Romania residency...daciagallery/ Dacia Gallery invites emerging and established artists to participate in this exciting summer Artist Residency program. The application is open to visual artists worldwide, including all mediums and styles of artwork. The residency is on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of only 20 available spots for artists to participate. The Artist Residency will comprise of a four-week or two-week course available for artists to attend. Art classes will alternate between figurative and plein air painting. Additionally, Lee Vasu, the founder and curator of Dacia Gallery, will be present to discuss The Business of Art, explaining the inner workings of the art world and how to successfully market ones artistic career to achieve representation by a gallery or an arts institution. Lee will also assist each artist in preparing for the group exhibition in New York City. 2 or 4 Week Residency: Artists have the option to participate in the two-week or four-week residency program. Some artists also asked if they may participate for 3 weeks, yes you may, please let us know how long you will stay. We have tailored the sessions to accommodate artists based on time and convenience, making the Sibiu Artist Residency manageable for artists to participate in this exciting arts adventure.
