Romans 4: Paul took a whole chapter explaining that WORKS is NOT what is JUSTIFIED! It is FAITH! There is a tremendous amount of nonsense going on in the world that people seem to think that if they DO something that they can earn respect and get their foot in the door. Sorry that is the devils lie and that is what you call RELIGION. Religion is a waist of your time and energy. Remember from the previous chapter Paul stated no matter how GOOD we are we ALL have sinned! Paul stated in Romans 4:1-3 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? (2) For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. (3) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. He goes on to say in Romans 4:4-5 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. (5) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Justification comes by FAITH alone! The faith that when we REPENT of our sins to GOD that Jesus blood will wash it ALL away and we have the assurance of heaven through a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ. NOT WORKS, NOT RELIGION! THAT my friend is SALVATION! Paul stated in Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast. Plain and simple your guarantee for salvation is based on ONE statement of Jesus in Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. repent ye, AND believe the gospel. NOT to a priest. NOT by going to church. NOT through baptism. NOT through RELIGION. NOT through works! NOT through communion. NOT completing a set of classes. ONLY through a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Christ! Jesus stated in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus IS the WAY! NOT MANY! Jesus IS the TRUTH! All others are LIES! Jesus IS the LIFE! No one else! The Bible is VERY CLEAR and it IS the FINAL authority! Will you REPENT today and turn to Jesus?
