Romans 5:17 NIV For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! 1 Corinthians 1:30 NIV It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. NOTE: In accepting salvation you heard and believed and accepted. This is the very same with righteousness, redemption, and sanctification. You receive all as a gift when you accepted Christ as saviour. In the case of those who have not yet made a decision to give their life to JESUS, these are gifts in waiting. These gift are free and have been obtained not attended. The difference is. Obtained is something instantaneous and attained is something gradually achieved. Righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, are given to us instantaneously at the time we receive JESUS as savior. That what is our victory and why we should be living a victorious life.
