Romans 8:28 states, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” FAITH: What if? What if we who walk closely with Yahweh would actually put faith where our mouth is when bad things happen? What would happen if we would respond calmly as though we actually believe and put our entire faith in this promise instead of responding with distress, angst, fear, anxiety, anger, depression and anything of the like? If we’re not responding in the manner of the former, we don’t love Him as we profess, we are not walking according to His purpose, we don’t know His promise or purpose, we don’t believe His promise, we don’t trust His promise, or in a moment of weakness we have a lapse of memory of exactly who and how God operates – that He is all seeing, all knowing, and is in all things. We certainly all have room to grow in this area. May we all desire to believe, trust and have absolute faith in our gracious King and choose to walk according to His purpose. ~A.V.
