Rosecombe Symphonys Aurora. Today more show jumping education! Clear round jumping went well and then she tried the baby stakes. One clear round but she lost attention at the first fence in the jump off and knocked the top pole. That hurt! She limped on and shortly got over the knock - recovering and going clear for the rest of the course. What a good pony. She has the promise of a jumper. More practice required... laughing again!! Better than the family pony class she entered to gain experience going round with other ponies! Sadly we think the judge thought we were pothunting as Aurora trotted on the bit and made a good effort at cantering. Not the sort of thing required in a pony to be ridden by novice family members. She was not quite last - the last pony wouldnt move at all. I wont bother to convey our analysis of this class! Overall we were very pleased with Aurora today and will try to find more venues where she can learn about jumping courses. You cant put us off!
