Rotary-Bacolod South SEPTEMBER 8 day celebrates with the children and mothers of Brgy. Su-ay coming from 6 day care centers (Catingib, Proper, MGB, Mapait, Daang Banwa) and 2 elementary schools (Catingib and Ceferino Gargaritano). We started the day with the GRAND BLT (Busog, Lusog, Talino) LAUNCHING of 2 RCBS partner schools on their first year. We also had BOOK READING AND STORYTELLING (thanks to Gerrou DeLa Torre Gasendo and Adelle Alamillo our ROTARACTORS) in celebration of the National Literacy Day, the Rotary way. It was followed by the turning over of tarpaulin/posters for BLT, materials for the ROTARY BACOLOD SOUTH FIT FOR SCHOOL PROGRAM (handwashing, toothbrushing and deworming) - this will be benefiting all students of both schools from kinder to grade 6. To make it a complete package for the holistic development of our negrense students we also signed the MOA of the ROTARY LIBRARY and also had the unveiling of the rotary library signage - one of the district thrusts of our DG Joe Jay Jude Doctora. Everybody then shared with the macaroni soup, juice and bread sponsored by RCBC and the brgy officials of su-ay headed by Kap Cherrie Hope Maravilla Belarga. To the members of RCBS, RCC Su-ay and ROTARACT Bacolod South - THANK YOU VERY MUCH! To all the people of Brgy. Su-ay - Mabuhay po kayong lahat! Onward to a ROTARY HAPPY BARANGAY!
