Round 2 1:17 in of the 106 Ilb Championship Match. Brandon Gilbert RUHS Wrestling vs St. J. Academy. St. J. Academy Wrestler was a well disciplined wrestler, he was the aggressor and was able to control this round. Brandon was unable to get a move which put him in the defensive position again. The St. J. Wrestler was able to get Brandon Gilbert on his back, ended up with getting the pin 1:17 in round 2. Still great experience, St. J. had a very disciplined wrestling team, very good technique and we learned to pace ourselves and wait for them to make the mistake. 2nd Place for Brandon Gilbert 106 Ilb. Weight class. Very very proud of him. You only get better from wrestling great competition!
