Rountree sworn in as police chief. A packed crowd filled the Council Chamber as Rountree, 49, was sworn in by Resident Superior Court Judge L. Todd Burke as the city’s 14th police chief. Several members of the Winston-Salem City Council and City Manager Lee Garrity were present.
