Route 6 resurfacing project in Wellsboro. Motorists traveling on Route 6 through the resurfacing project at the north end of Wellsboro are reminded to plan for lengthy delays while traveling in this area. The contractor is currently placing the scratch course layer of blacktop. Final paving will be the next phase, followed by driveway tie-ins, then guiderail installation. Work on this 2.2-mile, is a $749,000 project. It is expected to be completed in two weeks.
