Rowan Atkinson (AKA Mr. Bean), 59, Steps Out With New Girlfriend, 31, After Leaving His Wife He’s notoriously private about his personal life. But Rowan Atkinson didn’t seem to mind stepping out in public with his new girlfriend Louise Ford over the weekend. The 59-year-old Mr Bean star started dating the 31-year-old actress after the two worked alongside each other in comic play Quartermaine’s Terms. It was reported in February that Rowan had become estranged from his wife of 23 years, Sunetra Sastry. The actor has since moved out of the couple’s marital home and into a flat in West London. However, despite his closeness to Lisa, sources close to the couple have claimed that Rowan still wears his wedding ring. The source told The Mail Online: “They seem really happy together and are increasingly spending more time together. “They look really comfortable with each other - walking arm in arm and he has even been spotted tenderly touching her cheek. “Rowan still wears his wedding ring though and that might be the fact that he’s incredibly private and doesn’t want to draw attention to his marriage.” A RADA graduate, Louise has appeared in plays opposite a plethora of big names including British actress Gemma Arteton. She’s also appeared in hit E4 TV series Misfits and alongside Simon Bird in Sky’s comedy Chickens. Representatives of Atkinson and Ford have declined to pass comment – not surprising considering his recent quotes on talking about his personal life in the press. He said: “There’s only one thing more important than not talking about your domestic life and that’s not talking about why you are not talking about your domestic life.”
