Royally RoyaaaLe , std 350 ( old type ) , office holiday well spent. Anyone of the old timer keedas must remember the System Purge made by BP it was a carb & injector cleaner. I used it today, found a full sealed bottle in my stock , it was some 2002 dated . I was bit thinking abt its quality / shelf life. Anyways , Part 1 , I did not mix it in the tank , but used with the average bottle. I used the solution in 1part to :3 parts of petrol . Used some 250 ml for a liter of petrol & ran the bike for some 20 plus km Results were good, in first 50 ml of it with 150 ml of petrol , I could feel the smoothness , then the bike could not hold to idle & I had to raise it a bit (just a bit ) There must have some oil in it or whatever, the plug got bit sticky/ oily & starting was not instant between halts ( to fill the next bottle & mix a dose with petrol ) Part 2 , completed the ride came home , washed & cleaned the plug lots of sooth came out . Then took a ride again with the Normal petrol , before that, dried the carb bowl off solution mixed petrol . Part 3, Ride with Normal Petrol the ride was good . with a different & positive response to the accelerator & also she was heating less plug was dry, no sooth & no deposits or oily thing. Idling was stable In all felt positive about it , as the bike is only 29 K run , I opted to use it with petrol & that too via carb & for a limited run , not directly as mentioned on the bottle, so not to cause any over cleaning effect. Leaving aside the mental effect, I feel the performance has increased by 20 %
