Rs. 56 Crores would be released to farmers within 15 days to 30 days by the efforts of Sudhir Aggarwal. A Dharna/Protest of few hundreds of Sugarcane farmers led by Sudhir Aggarwal, National Convener,BJP Human Rights Cell was staged at the main gate of Nanglamal Sugar Mill (Meerut) on 4th September,2013. Sudhir Aggarwal strongly criticized the Akhilesh Government(UP) and condemned that the Government has favoured the Mill Management putting poor farmers in the drain. Although the notice of RC had been issued but no further mandatory action was taken in this regard against the sugar mill owner. After the strong protest, the hot arguments and discussion among protesters led by Sudhir Aggarwal on one side and the Sub Divisional Magistrate,DSO, on the other side on mill management resulted that due payment of farmers approximately Rs 56 Crores would be made by mill management within 15 days to 30 days. In this connection, Mr. Navneet Singh Chahal, SDM alongwith Mr. Rai, DSO and Mr. S.N. Birdi,GM of Mill also assured that the said amount be paid as per the discussion had with the protesters led by Sudhir Aggarwal.
