At the time, they were up tp 70% of the Crimean population (50% died in the cattle cars on the way to Siberia) and replaced them with ethnic Russians..but somehow were supposed to believe Crimea has always been Russia? ...but that was the USSR, not Russia...say all the apologists. The USSR, with its capital and center of power in Moscow, led by Russians. The same criminal USSR that Vladimir Putin served as a Spy. The USSR that Putin said about, the collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical tragedy. Sorry...not buying that line.
