Ruth Yates2 months ago Remember everyone it is an illusion, it is sand washing away not a waterfall or hole. I have just come from Mauritius I did not see this from the air. Obviously at certain times you can see it more clearly giving the illusion of a waterfall under the water. Mauritius beaches are very nice, and certain tourist areas, but no one told me about the poverty, how poor and how dirty the island is. Lots of tourist only stay at one spot the resorts, and do not venture out other than the tourist areas. I could not believe how a lot of the people lived in tin sheds. What is the government doing to fix up this little island. It looks like all the money is spent on tourist areas and not on the people. Very sad to see. youtu.be/31hBKv6mAQU
