By tendering my resignation letter before the motion to oust me is moved, I would portray real statesmanship anticipated from a learned fella like me. Accepting failure at earliest stage possible would be the very 1st thing to do. Though am not this short tempered speaker chanco has ever had since time immemorial, If I were him, I would realize that my inability to handle serious pressure & cowardice behaviour that led me to dissolve the general assembly prematurely last thursday was the worst mistake which none of my predecessors not even Vierson Thawani, whose tenure was characterized by anger & emotions, never committed. I would not sink so low to allow my personal emotions get over me & interfere with serious matters that were & still are at stake & for that matter hold the future of many needy students at ransom. As a custodian of the constitution I would honourably, handed over the proceedings to my deputy Charles Nkhalamba who has time & again demonstrated a strong character to handle such sensitive & volatile situation. As a speaker who has has achieved nothing during my tenure but goofing big time, stepping down could be the only option to pave way for my deputy who most of the times I exclude & seldom consult when it comes to making decisions involving our office. I could also bear in mind that memories are still fresh, of my blatant & shameless lie last semester, in which I boldly fooled chanco intellectuals that the college will not be closed, only to be announced few hours later that every student should pack & leave campus. In this I embarassingly showed how disconnected I am to the system & my guess & error type of leadership which has no place in this highly esteemed academic institution. Unfortunately, I am just but a needy fella led by clueless leaders, whose visions & aspirations are so retrogressively upside down.
