SADSAA SELECTORS: SADSAA NOMINATION PROCESS FOR THE 2014/2015 TERM Time is running out and all club members are to submit their nominations for SADSAA Selectors within the next 2 weeks to their respective clubs. Below are the persons currently serving as Selectors in SADSAA. Are you satisfied with the persons who’s names appear in paragraph B below? If not happy with them, then this is your chance of nominating someone else to serve as a SADSAA Selector for the 2014/2015 term. Important: Only Protea anglers can be nominated as a SADSAA Selector. A. The following persons are currently SADSAA Selectors, who still has another 2 year term to complete: • Lappies Labuschagne (Mpumalanga) • Mike Buyskes (N/Gauteng) • Ted Horn (S/Gauteng) • Phillip Marx (Zululand) B. The following persons are currently SADSAA Selectors, who’s terms are ending in June 2014 and they must stand down, or can be re-elected for another 3 year term: • Chris Jacobs (WP) • Barry Turk (Natal) • Tim Scholtz (Limpopo) • Anton Gets (Natal)• Paul Borcherds – Alternate Selector (Griquas) • Chris Rothman – Alternate Selector (Mpumalanga Last year, on our Angler Watch page, we identified a few persons to take over, and who were willing to stand, as SADSAA Selectors. We recall that Lynette Adams and Chris Rothman were two of the names that featured on our Angler Watch page. Chris at the end of the day was elected to serve as an Alternate Selector. The intention with this post is to share information/ideas and to open debate in order to assist club members to make informed decisions. Please share with us your opinions and ideas in this regard. The more reaction and interaction, the better our members will be informed, which will enable them to make the right nominations Lets get a few names rolling and then allow the club members to submit their nominations to their clubs, before the deadlines in February 2014.
