Regarding the Sabad, would you say that Nanak Ji, Mahla Pehla, claims to be a Guru, Satguru? He clearly calls someone else Guru / Satguru. The word Guru means great. Here it stands for God, In a secondary sense it is applied to a great Sant Guru, religious divine and holy teacher. Nanuk Ji explains: “Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding are obtained from Gods name; the love of God is obtained by association with the saints. Day and night profit is obtained from Gods name given by the beneficent Guru.” Indeed, for millions human beings the following Elahi words would be almost impossible to agree with. God is the only true friend and relation. Om! The true name is the creator, the divine male without fear, without enmity, of a timeless shape, not produced from the womb. By the favour of the Guru! I Nanuk say. The truth is, Confusion among the advocates: They all deny the following fact. Hymn of the first Woman or Slave; Sri Nanuk Ji Mahla Pehla explains and CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE SHOWS AND CONFIRMS THE FOLLOWING: “You may perform exercises of inner purification, and fire up the furnace of the Kundalini, inhaling and exhaling and holding the breath. Without the True Guru, you will not understand; deluded by doubt, you shall drown and die. The spiritually blind are filled with filth and pollution; they may wash, but the filth within shall never depart. Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, all their actions are useless, like the magician who deceives through illuions. Wherever I look, I see Him. Without meeting the True Guru, no one is liberated. In the Society of the Saints, contemplate the Glories of God and His spiritual wisdom. Whoever subdues his mind, knows the state of being dead while yet alive. O Nanak, by His Grace, the Gracious Lord is realized.” Those, within whom the Truth dwells, obtain the True Name; they speak only the Truth. The mind is impure until it receives instruction from a true religious teacher:--OTHERS; One class of people does not like the other. Those who want to know the truth please see below. Nanuk himself identify as Hymn of the first Woman or Slave. Gods word and the Guru are interchangeable terms: — A man can only find favour with God by devotion The readers are requested to remember and focus on the interchangeable words. INTERLINKED, GURU SATGURU AND HAR: Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla Ji, explains again and again re-emphasized, and centre his focused on Supreme absolute Truth. Truth which only carried forward by disciple from Satguru. In the following Sabad like the previous ones, he praises his Guru Satguru. A careful study of this passage yields the following results: GURU SATGURU DYAL SACH, ETC. It was the guru who gave a mantra, a verse or word or phrase, that the seeker would repeat as a kind of self-hypnosis; and it was the guru who taught the ‘secrets’ of the tradition. People are very hostile towards the verdict of Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla. There are 345 lines, passages in his textual record praising his Satguru. Both speak opposite each other. Greater re-emphasis and focuses must be centred on the word GURU BHAGATI, AND HAR in the following Sabad. I select the following Sabad, Verse, as this provide particulars enough to enable the reader to form his own mind-picture of the environs of the famous Sants. Sri Nanak Ji, Mahla Pehla never misses and at every available opportunity to adore, admires and praises his beloved Satguru. As you have seen Nanuk in his own words. Nanuk Ji, never claimed to originate fresh doctrines; he merely recalled the people to truths which had been formerly Known and practised. In his own words, he was “DHADI.” Some historian explained, “Nanuk was an imitator, not an original thinker.” It is misleading to call Sri Nanuk Ji, Known as Mahla Pehla the founder of learner, disciple (Sikh) Religion, as he did not originate a new school of thought or set of teachings. His numerical succession of mahlas follows the order in which Nanuk, Angad, Amardas, Ramdas and Arjan Dev. All the sign, their songs with the same name, Nanak. They have been distinguished in the Guru Graath by giving each of them a number, going from 1 (Nanuk) to 5. These numbers re noted as mahla 1, mahla 2 and so forth Thus a song ascribed to mahla is by Nanak. One ascribed to mahla 2, by Angad and so on. Not Guru, but only Mahla Pehla, Duja, Teeja, Chautha, and Mahla Panjva, Recorded. The compositions of Nanuk are styled Mahla one, that is, the first ward; the compositions of Angad, Mahla the second ward, and so on. Each taken as models of life and devotion, each of them being virtually identified with Nanuk, Nanuk himself identify as Hymn of the first Woman or Slave. Literally interpreted, the Sanskrit terms Guru (derived from the Sanskrit root gri, to utter words), and Sishya—corrupted into disciples’ (Sikh)—meaning in Sanskrit one who is to be instructed, are merely correlatives like teacher and taught. The point on which they pride themselves is the prohibition of image-worship. Yet they make an idol of their own sacred book, worshipping it as truly as the Hindus do their idols, dressing it, decorating it, fanning it, putting it to bed at night, and treating it much in the same manner as the idols of Krishna are treated.” The truth we have already acknowledged is that it is almost impossible to get clear answer to this question. It is at this point that the question very difficult indeed to answer. The sacred word of Sri Guru Granth it seems holds no value at all. In the past and present, but it conveys its message in different way to different people communicating with someone on one level of perception and with others on a different level. It is foolish to imagine that the Holy Scripture, sacred word will speak at the same level and degree of understanding to the ordinary villager as opposed to the person who has devoted many years mediation. They have not added to their mental fibre; they have never really known what genuine study means; they have dreaded application, and since there is no other road to success, they have missed their way. The way we live, the way we think — everything is dedicated to material pleasure. We consider sense objects to be of utmost importance and materialistically devote ourselves to whatever makes us happy, famous or popular. Even though all this comes from our mind, we are so totally preoccupied by external objects that we never look within, we never question why we find them so interesting. As long as we exist, our mind is an inseparable part of us. As a result, we are always up and down. It is not our body that goes up and down, it’s our mind — this mind whose way of functioning we do not understand. Therefore, sometimes we have to examine ourselves — not just our body, but our mind. After all, it is our mind that is always telling us what to do. We have to know our own psychology, or, in religious terminology, perhaps, our inner nature. Anyway, no matter what we call it, we have to know our own mind. Why So Much Confusion?: They mix up facts with fiction in such a manner that it is often difficult to distinguish the one from the other. Under the circumstances, a question may arise as to how far they can be regarded as trustworthy. No doubt, the question is not without its difficulties. The world has a habit of much teaching and little practising. You may hear a lecture on sugar a hundred times, but you will not know its flavour until you have tasted it, neither can the glory of any true teaching be known except by practice. You have to live the teachings of the prophets and the great ones. Then their truths become your own, and you realize that truth is demonstrable, and universal. When you practise truth — whether you call yourself, Hindu, a Buddhist, or a Christian or disciple of any other religion. To be always truth full one must understand the difference between fact and truth. youre truth fully pointing out that a man is lame only hurts; it does not good. There fore one should not speak unpleasant facts unnecessarily. To tell a truth that would betray another person, and to no worthy purpose, is also wrong. one should not speak un-truth to avoid speaking truth, but rather remain silent. For the people to know unity they must also know the support that comes when people who speak another truth are respected for the perception as they would have been for agreeing with the majority in the past. The spiritual challenge of the future resides in being able to accept it before we know it. Sach, Truth, for all of life has been created to return you to you’re innermost truth, and it will do that if you will but allow life will open you to what is true inside you. , therefore bless life and everything in it. When you transfer into eternity you will leave everything else behind. All you’re taking with you is loving truth. The following Sabad explains how to return to innermost truth with the blessing of Bhagat Satguru. ONE GIGANTIC CONVULSIVE HEAVE: All great masters have taught this, each in their own way. Go back to the innocence of children. When innocence emerge from the deepest understanding. It has a special purity. Innocence that emerges from lack of understanding it is not true innocence. It is the only choice that the non understanding has. Their innocence, then, is a lack of understanding. On the other hand, when you understand deeply and still remain innocence that is to say, innocence of any particular motive, innocence selfishness or of needing anything solely for yourself at the risk of hurting or damaging another that kind of innocence that arise from deep understanding has a special purity that you call divinity. That is the innocence of angels, who do not stand in innocence because they know nothing but because they know everything. BREACH OF TRUST; THEY DISCRIMINATE, THEY HIDE FACT & TRUTH ________________________________________ Scrutinizing Truth and falsity: Falsity consists in the privation of knowledge which inadequate, or mutilated and confused, ideas involve. Lies are very comfortable, very secure, cosy, and you can create lies according to yourself, according to your needs. Truth is never according to you; you have to be according to the truth, and that is difficult For them the truth is just the opposite. Logic is blind; criticize it! According to Suni, counterfeit Sikh Disciples to die for truth is far more valuable than to live in lies. Lies are very comfortable, very secure, cozy, and you can create lies according to yourself, according to your needs. Truth is never according to you; you have to be According to the truth, and that is difficult. If truth offends them, then it offends them. They can’t stand truth. They love pack of lies. People dont believe in what you say, people believe in the way you say it. And once you have learned the art of telling lies it becomes an addiction, because people start believing in you, you start becoming powerful. And then, if you can manage a few more things, your power will be immense. Heinous or wrongful act, esp. a crime utterly odious or wicked very heinous in itself, and very dreadful in its consequences, they committed unforgivable crime; it’s they who betrayed Sri Nanuk Ji. Everybody else is subject to error; only the Great Guru, Satguru and God are without error. What is the reason? His Great Guru, Satguru beyond, without error why had been separated, excluded, obliterated and annihilated from the history books? But there are no end people out there who are Obstinate, persuasive, beseeching, and adamant to sabotage everything that is in the best interest of the whole mankind whether its religious place of worship, sharing political power of leaver or education. Those who are honestly and whole heartedly interested want to know the truth please see below. Again and again, we hear and tell stories; we read and write and understand loads of knowledge. But still, their desires increase day and night, and the disease of egotism fills us with corruption, and hatred of others. Reading their books over and over again, people continue making mistakes; they are so proud of their religious robes. Each day we hear stories, stories which do not fits well with Guru Granth Ji, they heavily rely on the Janam Sakhis of Sri Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla. And Sri Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla never approved tel-tale stories. Everyone, I am Genuine, I am genuine-----? That is putting gently, from these observations it became clear that even today people are still disobedience and reluctant to accept this real bitter truth. If you want the situation to change, if you want to head off the collapse of the entire system that produced such inequalities, you will explore the possibility bringing a new thinking to remove the tell-tale stories in the religious spectrum. Folk tales are good enough to convince children. But the following quotes show the authors’ actual thoughts. It should not become the monopoly of scholars; it should not give the scholar a great ego. Sri Nanak Ji, Mahla Pehla Ji, explains: “When the Lord God showered His Mercy; egotism was eradicated from within me. Through the Guru, I have found the Lord, the Primal Being. How can I cross over, O Lord and Master? Contd------- Read it with earnest prayer. It can do you no good, without Gods blessing: nothing short of Divine grace can render it the means of instructing your mind, or impressing your heart. Make your deals, dealers, and take care of your merchandise. The most important thing is to awake. How can you try to awaken people who dont want to awake? Nothing happens if you try. First, they must wish to awake. People cannot be awakened by force without their own desire. This is one of the most important ideas connected with esotericism. It is exactly the point where one has free choice; otherwise there would be no value in awakening if one could be awakened artificially. The futility of the annihilationist argument shown by numerous quotations from the other source rather then the work of the Successors of Sri Nanak Ji, Mahla Pehla Ji, from Guru Granth Ji. Contd--------- Sri Nanuk Ji Mahla Pehla explains: “Pandits, the religious scholars, the teachers and astrologers, and those who endlessly read the Puraanas, do not know what is within; God is hidden deep within them. Some penitents perform penance in the forests, and some dwell forever at sacred shrines. The unenlightened people do not understand themselves — why have they become renunciates? Some are householders, servants, and seekers, attached to the Guru’s Teachings. They hold fast to the Naam, to charity, to cleansing and purification; they remain awake in devotion to the Lord. I have searched in the four directions, but no one is mine. If it pleases You, O Lord Master, then You are mine, and I am Yours. The above sermon teacheth that the inquiry of truth, which is the love-devotion, Charity, Guru’s gate the knowledge of truth, which is the presence of it, and the belief of truth, the most honourable kind of following is to be followed as one. Truth, however, has triumphed ultimately as it has a way of doing. The basis of a strong faith in Guru a God, it is natural that in the consciousness of the almighty and all-good God should fall on the person of him who, as master, teacher, example, is in every way of immeasurable significance to the life of his followers. The grace of God is said to bestow eternal life on man: the Master becomes the mediator by whom the grace of God extends to man. The key to the explanation of this we here proceed to insert another passage. The significance and thrust of these hymns have often been missed. May I remind the reader that the purpose of exploring these Sabads is to focus sharply into the issues we are concerned with? It is the aim and object of the individual soul as a divine spark to be reunited with the fountain of light, from which it has emanated, and to be re-absorbed in it. As long as it has not reached this goal, it is unhappy, being separated from its source, the Supreme. Seek the truth in yourself and the truth will set you free. Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many. The way of liberation, people generally believe in India without Divine Guru there is no path to liberation, religious traditions tend to assert that the problem faced by all human beings is one of un enlightenment. The soul liberation, moksha of the soul from an apparently endless serious of rebirth. To think of the religion as a sort of intricate machine to be studied in pieces is to misconceive the whole. It is not uncommon, indeed, to hear it asserted that disciple-ism is rapidly falling to pieces, and destined soon to collapse altogether. One reason given for the doom supposed to be impending over its future is that it is not a proselyting religion. It is because they have not given themselves the trouble to become familiar with this important part of the human mechanism. To the common people the world is an insoluble riddle. YOU MUST SERVE SADHU SATGUR: ___________________________________ Sri Nanuk Ji Mahla Pehla Ji explains: Without the Name, what is life? Cleverness is detestable and cursed. One who does not serve the Holy True Guru, is not pleased by devotion to the Lord. Joining the humble Saintly beings, let us sing the blessed, blessed Praises of the Lord. As is the cane in the hand of the blind man, so is the Lords Name for me. The pain of birth and death is removed, by chanting and meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. SAYS NANUK: As is the cane in the hand of the blind man, so is the Lords Name for me. The Lords Name is my Support, night and day and morning. As You keep me, Lord, I live; the Lords Name is my only Support. It is my only comfort in the end; the gate of salvation is found by His humble servants. The pain of birth and death is removed, by chanting and meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. O Nanak, one who does not forget the Naam, is saved by the Perfect Guru. Without the Name, what is life? Cleverness is detestable and cursed. One who does not serve the Holy True Guru, is not pleased by devotion to the Lord. The importance and necessity of a competent Master cannot therefore be over-emphasized. Sant Satguru Master of Truth, As Satguru or the veritable Great Master of Truth, He leads us into the Great Beyond. Such souls are the salt of the earth and are very rare indeed, but the world is never without one or more of such beings, as God may ordain. As Gurudev or the Radiant Form of the Master, He guides the soul on the astral and causal planes. Let us try to discover to what extent it is justified by the facts. And first we must consider the things that have created an enormous prejudice against Sahib Sachay Patshah Satguru Ruvdas Jio, Sahib Sachay Patshah Satguru Kavir Jio and Sahib Sachay Patshah Satguru Namdev Jio. Let everyone first love the religion of saints: Pandits, preceptors, and astrologers ever read the Purans, But know not the Thing within them God who is concealed within the heart. Alms-gifts, ablutions, and austerities are of no avail; without association with the saints, thou hast been born in vain. The Hindu Shastars and religious ceremonies are of no avail: - Guru Granth Ji, Belongs to all, it’s not the monopoly of anyone. Let us all break the barriers of passion and prejudice, of separateness, sectarianism and strife. Let us all remove the obstacles, so that the Light may shine with splendour. The Nations need the Light; Civilization needs it. Let us be thoroughgoing, not only in inner experience. Very few will like the following truth. Majorities disagree and reject. It is the aim and object of the individual soul as a divine spark to be reunited with the fountain of light, from which it has emanated, and to be re-absorbed in it. As long as it has not reached this goal, it is unhappy, being separated from its source, the Supreme. Sri Nanak Ji, Mahla Pehla ji explains: The most accessible place for God-communion is within your Self. Your pure-conscious true Self is your real nature. The ego, the illusion sense of selfhood, is only a viewpoint from which to see and relate to objective phenomena. At the core of your being you are now one with God. The Gurus speak of God as a husband and themselves as His wives; and spiritual happiness they liken to connubial bliss. Truth is the password, gate pass for salvation and this how the truth imparted to Sri Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla from his benevolent precursor, predecessors, and preceptors. The knowledge he posses came from his Poora Satguru, Perfect True Guru and explain: “The Guru has revealed the stores and the city within the home of my own heart, where I intuitively carry on the true trade” Without the Truth, no one finds sincerity or contentment. Without the Guru, no one is liberated; coming and going in reincarnation continue. Chanting the MOOL MNATRA, HAR and the Name of the Lord, the source of nectar, says Nanak, I have found the Perfect Lord. Without the Truth, the terrifying world-ocean cannot be crossed. This ocean is vast and unfathomable; it is overflowing with the worst poison. There should be no more debate or discussion on this issue. And no one should be allowed to separate Sri Nanuk JI, Mahla Pehla Ji from His beloved Sant Bhagat Satguru. And I, Nanuk, say, Meeting with the Guru, the soul-bride’s dress is transformed, and she is adorned with Truth. Come and meet with me, O brides of the Lord; let’s meditate in remembrance on the Creator Lord. Through the Naam, the soul-bride becomes the Lord’s favourite; she is adorned with Truth. Don’t sing the songs of separation, O Nanak — reflect upon God.” Contd------- It is only the man who is totally aware of his conditioning, his consciousness. This is what awareness means. For awareness everything is constantly new. Nothing is old, nothing can be old. Everything is being created every moment -- it is a continuous flow of creativity. Awareness never carries memory as a burden. This means that the level of our understanding, our ordinary mind, even our ordinary feelings have to be changed. Only, in thinking about putting other people in ones place, it is very important to avoid dangerous mistakes. If the reader will revert to the textual record, Let us observe first that, as a matter of fact, the attainment of the highest ecstatic stage this means Sri Nanuk Mahla Pehla Ji, cannot be declared as founder of Religion. Those who forced upon him and say on daily basis they prove Guru Granth Ji, wrong. They cannot be called what they claim to be. WHY THE PHILOSOPHY FAILS: _________________________________ Why the philosophy fails and lies succeeds. The world is against the truth, the world lives in lies. Lies are very comfortable, very secure, cozy, and you can create lies according to yourself, according to your needs. Truth is never according to you; you have to be according to the truth, and thats difficult. Many chunks of youre being will have to be cut so that you can fit with truth. Youre ego will have to be dropped so, that you can enter into the temple of truth. Let be then truth you’re Virtue, you’re Religion: Follow the truth; you will have to serve the truth. Let this be you’re only virtue you’re only Religion. GURUISM: Sahib Sachay Patshah Satguru Kavirs doctrine, indeed, teaching, was and still is vital and important guide which says Hear the word of the Guru, the word of the Guru is the guide, similarly much more did Sri Nanuk insist on a similar submission. Sri Nanuk, however, laid no claim to be the founder or originator of a new Religion. You not disbelieve when you yourself read the teaching or his textual record. His teaching was mainly founded on that of his preceptors, predecessors, especially on that of Sahib Sacgay Patshah Satguru Kavir, Sahib Sachay Patshah Satguru Ruvdas and Sahib Sachay Patshah Satguru Namdev whom Nanuk Vani constantly quoted. “Kavir is Merciful, the slave of the Lords slaves; the humble barber Sain is sublime. Highest of the high is Namdev, who looked upon all alike; Ruvdas manifestation, Embodiment of the Lord God. My soul, body and wealth belong to the Saints; my mind longs for the dust of the Saints. And by the radiant Grace of the Saints, all my doubts have been erased. Saith Nanak, I have met the Lord.” Furthermore “Those beings are pure, perfect unlimited and infinite; in this world, they are the embodiment of the Guru, the Lord of the Universe. Meditate in remembrance on the Lord; meditate and contemplate the Gurus Word, and love to associate with the humble servants of the Lord. The Lord humble servants are the embodiment of the Guru; they are supreme and respected in the Court of the Lord. Nanak seeks the dust of the feet of those humble servants of the Lord. They obtained salvation and are reverenced by the world. Gods word and the Guru are interchangeable terms: - I LEARNED FROM MY SATGURU. Those who want to know the truth please see below IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH, I WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH. ______________________________________ Sant Saint, a genuine Sat Guru, Page 766 / 7 Guru Granth Ji. Sri Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla explains: “With the help from our Satugru, preceptor only then we recognized our own smallness can we possibly began to cling to the greatness of God. Spiritual salvation is the main provision that a Satguru makes for disciple. Truth is the top priority for Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla. To obtain truth in turn the disciple or Chela who must take oath to give up all aspect of their previous lives to live permanently in the sanctuary of Satguru Darbar religious heritage and continue with Satguru seva.:“The following Sabad guide us how Nanuk Ji, Mahla Pehla merge in truth with the blessing of Satguru. Did you know this is immensely important and vital fact in the Indian history, absolute necessity of Religious Master in the spiritual linage of kinship??? The following Sabad guide us how Nanak Ji, Mahla Pehla merge in truth with the blessing of Satguru on page Guru Granth Ji as follow. On Page 466 Guru Granth Ji, Sri Nanku Ji Mahla Pehla Ji, explains: “He has placed Himself within the True Guru; revealing Himself, He declares this openly. The Sant, Bhagat Satguru is the embodiment Personification, Spirit, Authority and abode of God. He is an ocean of bliss, knowledge, and mercy. He is the captain of your soul. He is the fountain of joy. He removes all your troubles, sorrows, and obstacles. He shows you the right divine path. He tears your veil of ignorance. He makes you immortal and divine. He transmutes your lower, diabolical nature. He gives you the rope of knowledge, and takes you up when you are drowning in this ocean cycle of birth and death. Do not consider him to be only a man. If you take him as a man, you are a beast. Worship your Sat guru and bow to him with reverence submissively. “In the company of the saints, Nanak hath obtained wisdom; singing Gods praises is his support. Namdev, Trilochan, Kavir, and Ruvdas Chamar have been liberated, obtained salvation became immortals. No one now asketh their about their caste ancestry and social status or their tribe; men beg the dust of their feet.” Sant, Bhagat Satguru is God. A word from him is a word from God. He need not-teach anything. Even his presence or company is elevating, inspiring, and stirring, His very company is self-illumination. Living in his company is spiritual education. Page 154 Guru Granth Ji, Sri Nanuk Ji Mahla Pehla Ji, explain: ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिनामु करता पुरखु गुर प्रसादि ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ॥ ਨਿਵਲੀ ਕਰਮ ਭੁਅੰਗਮ ਭਾਠੀ ਰੇਚਕ ਪੂਰਕ ਕੁੰਭ ਕਰੈ ॥ प्रभाती महला १ ॥ निवली करम भुअंगम भाठी रेचक पूरक कु्मभ करै ॥ Prabhaatee, Mahla Pehla: You may perform exercises of inner purification, and fire up the furnace of the Kundalini, inhaling and exhaling and holding the breath. ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੋਝੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਭਰਮੇ ਭੂਲਾ ਬੂਡਿ ਮਰੈ ॥ बिनु सतिगुर किछु सोझी नाही भरमे भूला बूडि मरै ॥ Without the True Guru, you will not understand; deluded by doubt, you shall drown and die. ਅੰਧਾ ਭਰਿਆ ਭਰਿ ਭਰਿ ਧੋਵੈ ਅੰਤਰ ਕੀ ਮਲੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਲਹੈ ॥ अंधा भरिआ भरि भरि धोवै अंतर की मलु कदे न लहै ॥ The spiritually blind are filled with filth and pollution; they may wash, but the filth within shall never depart. ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਫੋਕਟ ਸਭਿ ਕਰਮਾ ਜਿਉ ਬਾਜੀਗਰੁ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲੈ ॥੧॥ नाम बिना फोकट सभि करमा जिउ बाजीगरु भरमि भुलै ॥१॥ Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, all their actions are useless, like the magician who deceives through illusions. ||1|| ਖਟੁ ਕਰਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਸੋਈ ॥ਤੂ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਅਵਗੁਣ ਮੋਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ खटु करम नामु निरंजनु सोई ॥ तू गुण सागरु अवगुण मोही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ The merits of the six religious rituals are obtained through the Immaculate Naam. You, O Lord, are the Ocean of virtue; I am so unworthy. ||1||Pause|| ਮਾਇਆ ਧੰਧਾ ਧਾਵਣੀ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਕਾਰ ਬਿਕਾਰ ॥ ਮੂਰਖੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਣਾਇਦਾ ਬੂਝਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਕਾਰ ॥ माइआ धंधा धावणी दुरमति कार बिकार ॥ मूरखु आपु गणाइदा बूझि न सकै कार ॥ Running around chasing the entanglements of Maya is an evil-minded act of corruption. The fool makes a show of his self-conceit; he does not know how to behave. ਮਨਸਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹਣੀ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਬੋਲ ਖੁਆਰ ॥ਮਜਨੁ ਝੂਠਾ ਚੰਡਾਲ ਕਾ ਫੋਕਟ ਚਾਰ ਸੀਂਗਾਰ ॥੨॥ मनसा माइआ मोहणी मनमुख बोल खुआर ॥ मजनु झूठा चंडाल का फोकट चार सींगार ॥२॥ The self-willed manmukh is enticed by his desires for Maya; his words are useless and empty. The ritual cleansing of the sinner are fraudulent; his rituals and decorations are useless and empty. ||2|| ਝੂਠੀ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਮਤਿ ਹੈ ਕਰਣੀ ਬਾਦਿ ਬਿਬਾਦੁ ॥ ਝੂਠੇ ਵਿਚਿ ਅਹੰਕਰਣੁ ਹੈ ਖਸਮ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਸਾਦੁ ॥ झूठी मन की मति है करणी बादि बिबादु ॥ झूठे विचि अहंकरणु है खसम न पावै सादु ॥ False is the wisdom of the mind; its actions inspire useless disputes. The false are filled with egotism; they do not obtain the sublime taste of their Lord and Master. ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਹੋਰੁ ਕਮਾਵਣਾ ਫਿਕਾ ਆਵੈ ਸਾਦੁ ॥ਦੁਸਟੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਗੁਚੀਐ ਬਿਖੁ ਵਾਤੀ ਜੀਵਣ ਬਾਦਿ ॥੩॥ बिनु नावै होरु कमावणा फिका आवै सादु ॥ दुसटी सभा विगुचीऐ बिखु वाती जीवण बादि ॥३॥ Without the Name, whatever else they do is tasteless and insipid. Associating with their enemies, they are plundered and ruined. Their speech is poison, and their lives are useless. ||3|| ਏ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਭੂਲੇ ਮਰਹੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥ ए भ्रमि भूले मरहु न कोई ॥ सतिगुरु सेवि सदा सुखु होई ॥ Do not be deluded by doubt; do not invite your own death. Serve the True Guru, and you shall be at peace forever. ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥ ਆਵਹਿ ਜਾਂਹਿ ਮਰਹਿ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਈ ॥੪॥ बिनु सतिगुर मुकति किनै न पाई ॥ आवहि जांहि मरहि मरि जाई ॥४॥ Without the True Guru, no one is liberated. They come and go in reincarnation; they die, only to be reborn and die again. ||4|| ਏਹੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਹੈ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਧਾਤੁ ॥ ਇਸ ਨੋ ਵਿਆਪੈ ਸੋਗ ਸੰਤਾਪੁ ॥ एहु सरीरु है त्रै गुण धातु ॥ इस नो विआपै सोग संतापु ॥ This body wanders, caught in the three dispositions. It is afflicted by sorrow and suffering. ਸੋ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਾਈ ਨ ਬਾਪੁ ॥ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਚੂਕੈ ਤਿਸਨਾ ਅਰੁ ਆਪੁ ॥੫॥ सो सेवहु जिसु माई न बापु ॥ विचहु चूकै तिसना अरु आपु ॥५॥ So serve the One who has no mother or father. Desire and selfishness shall depart from within. ||5|| ਜਹ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਸੋਈ ॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭੇਟੇ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥ जह जह देखा तह तह सोई ॥ बिनु सतिगुर भेटे मुकति न होई ॥ Wherever I look, I see Him. Without meeting the True Guru, no one is liberated. ਹਿਰਦੈ ਸਚੁ ਏਹ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਾਰੁ ॥ ਹੋਰੁ ਸਭੁ ਪਾਖੰਡੁ ਪੂਜ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥੬॥ हिरदै सचु एह करणी सारु ॥ होरु सभु पाखंडु पूज खुआरु ॥६॥ Enshrine the True One in your heart; this is the most excellent action. All other hypocritical actions and devotions bring only ruin. ||6|| ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਚੂਕੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਬਦੁ ਪਛਾਣੁ ॥ ਘਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੁ ॥ दुबिधा चूकै तां सबदु पछाणु ॥ घरि बाहरि एको करि जाणु ॥ When one is rid of duality, then he realizes the Word of the Sabad. Inside and out, he knows the One Lord. ਏਹਾ ਮਤਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਹੈ ਸਾਰੁ ॥ ਵਿਚਿ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਮਾਥੈ ਪਵੈ ਛਾਰੁ ॥੭॥ एहा मति सबदु है सारु ॥विचि दुबिधा माथै पवै छारु ॥७॥ This is the most Excellent Wisdom of the Sabad. Ashes fall on the heads of those who are in duality. ||7|| ਕਰਣੀ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਰੁ ॥ਸੰਤ ਸਭਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥ करणी कीरति गुरमति सारु ॥ संत सभा गुण गिआनु बीचारु ॥ To praise the Lord through the Gurus Teachings is the most excellent action. In the Society of the Saints, contemplate the Glories of God and His spiritual wisdom. ਮਨੁ ਮਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਤ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਣੁ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਪਛਾਣੁ ॥੮॥੩॥ मनु मारे जीवत मरि जाणु ॥ नानक नदरी नदरि पछाणु ॥८॥३॥ Whoever subdues his mind, knows the state of being dead while yet alive. O Nanak, by His Grace, the Gracious Lord is realized. ||8||3 Regarding the above Sabad, would you say that Nanak Ji, Mahla Pehla, claims to be a Guru, Satguru? He clearly calls someone else “Satguru” ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਕਬੀਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੈਨ ਇਹਨਾ ਅਭਿਨਾਸੀ ਸਤ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਵਡਾਪਨ ਮ: ੫ ਜੀ ਵਰਨਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਇਹ ਆਪ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਓਹੀ ਸਤਿਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਓਹੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੁਸੀ ਞੀ ਜਾਣ ਲਞੋ ਤਰੁੰਤ ਆਨੰਦ-ਦਾਇਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ॥ Forget your own interests, your own longings, your own desires. You will attain the bliss of the Supreme Self. Empty your egoism. You will be filled with God. Lose your personality. You will find the Divine Life. You will realize God. God dwells in all beings as life and consciousness. Nanuk Vani which praise and pledge to follow Satguru Ruvdas’s teachings to the end. Nanuk Vani Adore, Admire, and praise Global, Universal, Gigantic Supreme Sahib Sachay Patshah Satguru Ruvdas, Kavir, Namdev and Sain the barber. They themselves chant, and inspire others to chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord. They are utterly All-Powerful; they carries us across to the other side. Immortals: Their name liveth for evermore. Still shine above others their prominence never diminishes.
