SAM LEADERS GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE CRITICIZING Vernon (& Christina) – Your accusations are rejected. It seems SAM people are ready to criticize without the facts. It is not fitting for SAM leaders to take this approach when they hold themselves out to be professionals, lawyers and broadcasters etc. But it speaks volumes about the quality of their research. Please do not take this as personal as clearly you are all making criticisms from the same rigid political pedestal with knee jerk reaction without checking the facts. In relation to failing to base your accusations on facts, have you read Borneo Wikis graphic (cartoons) postings & more serious articles written over the past year on SSM and 916 Occupation Day Pages on the fraudulent formation of Malaysia, support for the NCR struggle, intense condemnations of Taib & Co and UMNO BN colonialism? These will rebut your wild accusations. In the FBs we also published many articles on how Malaysia was formed by Britain in collusion with Malaya. If you all have not read these just check what I have posted at SAM FB so far. Tell me which post supports UMNO or PBB BN? Ask yourselves how can people who want real Sarawak independence possibly support the UMNO govt. ? You automatically assume that anyone with different views from your party are UMNO PBB BN people. Surely this is a obvious contradictory statement for any of you to make. No you are all very wrong. We belong to a class of people who detest and cannot wait to rid our Fair Land of foreign Malayan colonial rule and their local puppets. This is where we differ. We oppose foreign rule while you support foreign rule under PKRs version of domination. MALAYSIA AGREEMENT AN INTERNATIONAL TREATY The starting point is how you interpret the MA63 an international treaty registered with and as classified by the U.N. If you look closer you will notice that the MA63 was made between 5 countries with North Borneo and Sarawak described “colonies”. The declassified British colonial documents confirmed that it was Britain and Malayas secret agreement to transfer Sabah Sarawak Sovereignty to Malaya without independence. Later after intense worldwide and local opposition to their Malaysia proposal, they renamed their scheme as “independence in Malaysia” both to soften international critics and fierce local opposition which led to the Brunei anti-Malaysia Uprising in Dec, 1963. As professionals you should all at least seriously read up what has been published on the MA63 over the past year. They have become a fast growing challenge to Sarawak PK credibility as a real Sarawak party not beholden to Malayan big brothers. I believe that many of you are also Sarawakians who genuinely want to get rid of all the foreign and local plunderers of Sarawak and this includes the UMNO BN govt and Malayan multinational companies pillaging our country under the name of Malaysia. And it is for this reason we have made it our priority to get rid of Malayan colonial rule first. REFERENDUM IDEA The idea of a referendum caught on fire a few months after the SSM & 916 O/D Face Books were started and this is has become the main topic and agenda for change to our colonial status. A referendum will be the most peaceful and democratic way to resolve the issue of whether Sarawakians want their country to remain as a part of Malaya (colony) or take it out of Malaysia for real independence. We can see from the ongoing debate on SAM FB that the question of independence is anathema to PK policy to keep Sarawak subjugated to Malaya under its promise to implement “autonomy”. “Autonomy” is a false issue as you all may be aware that “autonomy” was the understanding, promise and enticement for Sarawak to agree to form Malaysia with North Borneo, Singapore and Malaya after Brunei wisely refused to sign the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63). IN 1965 the MA63 was abrogated by Singapores secession from Malaysia without consulting Sabah and Sarawak. If it has been “fixed up” then MA63 was effectively repudiated by Malaya since 1965. After 50 of the Federations complete failure to implement any real “autonomy” for Sarawak and witnessing the impoverishment of both Sabah and Sarawak, their being reduced to colonies plundered by Malaya and the direct UMNO takeover of Sabah, that leaves us with absolutely no faith in the Malayan undertakings. This failure constitutes Malayas repudiation of the MA63. Is it still binding? The MA63 and prior understands assurances and safeguards govern the relationship Malaya as equal partners in Malaysia. A set of the Assurances and Safeguards was posted in SAM. Therefore we call on SAM and Sarawak PK members to examine closely what Malayan PK is offering us in terms of “autonomy” and compare this with what SSM and 916 Occupation Days choice of real independence through a referendum. If they are convinced by our arguments they can freely choose to support either the side that is seriously working for Sarawaks freedom from Malayan rule or the side that is seriously working to prolong Malayan rule.
