SAO Soca Awards Ltd. will be presenting its 11th Annual International Soca Awards on Tuesday 6th August 2013 at Spice Basket, Beaulieu, St. George, Grenada W.I, and would be honored to have Skarpyon presence to enhance this gala affair. Soca Stars from around the world will bestowed the International Soca Awards (iSA 11) for the very first time. It will be an evening filled with music, fun, high fashion, dance and fine commentary Caribbean-Hollywood-style, feature the Who’s Who of the Soca and Calypso Industry. The iSA 11- award ceremony is also being promoted in and around the world as the Premier Event of the Soca Music Industry. Over the last 11 years, iSA has afforded specially invited guests the opportunity to celebrate and honor their favorite Soca and Calypso artists and the people who keep the music industry alive for their contribution of excellence over the past year. Preceding the award ceremony, which will consist of over thirty-four (34) categories and Eleven (11) performances, there will be a Red Carpet Event and pre show, showcasing Spice Mas which includes Calypso, Soca, Steel Pan, and Carnival Mas costumes portrayals. The pre-show promptly starts at 4:30pm ending at 6:30pm and the Awards ceremony begins promptly at 7:00pm to commence this history making and spectacular evening, ending at 10:00pm. There will be a BIG AFTER PARTY - FETE “Party with the Stars”. The 12 hours of Soca will be broadcasted live, via, web stream socatvonline and on Flow network in the Caribbean. The SAO committee has formally invited Skarpyon to iSA 11 to walk the Red Carpet; perform at the pre-show and after party also to be a presenter at the award ceremony. Skarpyon is no stranger to this event for in 2007 he was awarded the Best Soca Collaboration Groove with the song Leave Me Alone featuring Jamesy P. When asked his feelings on such an invite Skarpyon has expressed shear excitement and honor to be one to represent his country St Vincent and the Grenadines in music and performance in such a prestigious event. “This one is for my fans”
