SCAM ALERT: While visiting a business associate at Vista Ridge Mall, today I was cajoled into a store called BRILLIANCE. They sell lotions, bath salts, skin and beauty supplies. The young lady Betty persuaded me to sample some products on the premise that I might buy them for my wife. Moments later she had rung up $300 worth of goods without ever showing me the cash register ticket. I demanded a refund and she refused, stating that the store did not give refunds, only exchanges. I explained to her that it was not a request, but an order. She argued with me and goofed around until my temper was tested and I had to raise my voice to get the point across. At that moment a young punk kid came in ready for action. I told him to go get security, because he was going to need it when I got finished. He returned with three. After I greeted and discussed my plight with the mall cops we all mutually understood that I was being taken advantage of. After 45 minutes of him-hawing around behind the counter I was handed my refund receipt. I filled out a report for the mall. I also asked to see the Retail License of Brilliance and was refused. I know that my business pays for and displays a license in plain view of the public. If a patron asks to see my license, then I proudly show them. These punks have no clue what customer service is. I lectured the young lady, complimenting her on her sales skills; but, criticizing her for overall experience and she only argued more. In the end I explained that she only needed to say two words: Yes Sir. So, if you go near this store in the mall, then be on alert. Not only do they swindle you; but, the will fight you for your money back. Im going to pursue the license thing right after I go out and piss off all my honeybees tomorrow. The Brilliance people should pray that I dont get stung much. It takes days for the swelling and pain to reside.
