SEEK DAILY (NBC) Sunday, March 16 Psalm 110:1-4; Acts 2:22-24 PLACED ON DAVID’S THRONE …rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power…. Psalm 110:2-3, KJV This passage is about Christ’s human ancestry. David’s throne had been declared by the Lord to be forever. Jesus had human origin and it was deliberate that God made Him come through the lineage of David. Two things assert His reign: ruling in the midst of His enemies and His people submitting to Him. Christ’s enemies cannot overpower Him. Every of His enemies must be subdued. He will also rule over His people. In the day of His power, no man shall oppose Him!Those who align themselves with Christ will rule in the midst of their enemies and no person shall have the final say over them. People will willingly submit to their authorities. As you enter into His gates this morning with thanksgiving in your heart, I pray that the One who sits on the throne of David will delight in you and bless you with all spiritual and heavenly blessings in Jesus name. May He bring to an end all the nagging issues of your life and spread before you a table even in the presence of your enemies! So shall be your experience as you yield yourself to Him.• Birthday Blessing: “Come to me, all you who are weary and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 Read Bible Through Passage: Deuteronomy 10, 11; Mark 15:1-23This life was not intended to be the place of our perfection but the preparation for it. - Richard Baxter
