SEF organizes professional development program for PPRS school teachers Sept 17 - Sept 26: Sindh Education Foundation organized a ten day professional development program for the teachers of phase II of Promoting Private Schooling in Rural Sindh (PPRS) schools in 10 districts of Sindh including Badin, Thatta, Sanghar, Umerkot, Benazirabad, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Mithi, Khairpur Mirs and Dadu. The training comprised of 3 day refresher course for grade IV teachers and 7 days training for the teachers of grade V. The aim of the program was to orient/re-orient the teachers with “Get Ahead Book Series” and enhance their understanding on effective teaching methodologies. It also provided an opportunity to the participants to demonstrate and reflect critically upon their teaching practices.
