SENIOR FIELD OFFICER The Senior Field Officer oversees the operations of Gladstone Area group Apprentices Field Officer team in Gladstone and reports to the Operations manager. GAGAL’s core business is facilitating the employment and training of apprentices and trainees. Your responsibilities will include: Provide direction, guidance and support to the Gladstone Field Officers team, apprentices and trainees. Recruitment of Apprentices and Trainees. Recruitment of Host employers. Assessment and monitoring of Apprentices and Trainees. Keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes that affect Apprentices and Trainees. Build and maintain relationships with host employers, government departments and agencies, schools, parents, community groups and employer and employee industrial organisations. Promote GAGAL within the community Desirable qualifications and experience Workplace training and assessment qualifications A trade or other vocational qualification Experience in training and employment and industrial relations A working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Self-motivation Demonstrated leadership ability Patience, tact and diplomacy GAGAL offers a good salary and a rewarding career.
