Be predictable in your person and fathering practices. 4. Protect and Provide: Make them feel safe, loved, and secure. Fill their needs; know their wants. 5. Respect your childrens mother: model love and/or friendship. 6. Active Listening: be patient, take genuine interest in children and their lives. 7. Values: model positive, consistent values, Be honest with your children and give them frequent instruction. Remember: you dont have to be perfect!!
