SEVENS HEAVEN - A big weekend of Sevens action for Taranaki teams with the Nexans Olex Mens and Womens teams having successful build ups to the Central Regions qualifier next weekend. The men had three wins but most importantly built combinations and got so quality minutes under their belt in a warm up weekend in Rotorua.The women were up against a classy Manawatu outfit in Palmerston North and picked up momentum as the day went on. - Well done to the Francis Douglas Memorial College Senior Sevens team who were placed 6th in the country at the BNZ condor Condor Sevens in Auckland over the weekend. A fantastic achievement. New Plymouth Girls High School also attended the tournament and put in creditable performances throughout the weekend in the girls section. Bring on the remainder of the Sevens season!
