SFER Choi Kwang Do has sent "UNBREAKABLE SPIRIT" wrist bands to Alan Stott and Greca CKD today. We would like to thank them and their students for the support of the "Unbreakable spirit project". The small profit on these bands go into a fund to assist local disabled students, who would not have access to any sport, and in some cases physiotherapy. It means we can offer one on one care to these kids, at the same cost as if they attended a group class. In the near future The UNBREAKABLE SPIRIT FUND will also be doing a "sponsor a T shirt" for when we start teaching local orphans. (Not yet, but coming soon) You will be able to buy a great CKD T shirt and an identical T shirt will go to a child. (Thank you so much to those people who have already reserved their T Shirt) When the shirts are made available you will be sent your shirt, and a T shirt will be reserved, when it is given to a child we will send you the name of the child and we will send you a photograph. Word of our willingness to work with local kids is spreading and our program is in great demand. Today I had a lovely gentleman come and see SFER CKD he is involved with a school Christian School in KL, this school offers schooling to non Malaysian students, non Malaysians are not allowed to attend the local schools and cannot pay for the "international school fees" their parents are from places like Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Nepal and other 3rd world countries. Typically the parents work as house maids, guards, and other low paid jobs ( earning an average of 200 US dollars a month!!) the school is run by an American Pastor and his wife, they give the kids two meals a day and clothes. Our visitor has asked me to meet with his Pastor to see if we can give these kids Choi Kwang Do classes. There are 8000 kids in the school! Gulp! Hopefully we will come up with a way that the UNBREAKABLE SPIRIT fund can do something for these kids too! So please watch this space for updates! Thank you again for your support and well wishes.
