SHANES LAST POST I was was up late last night and decided to look through Shanes iPad. While going through his Notes app I found the following post below. He never had the chance to post it but I am proud and honored to share what will be Shanes last post with all of you. ~ Paige Jacksonville HH11 Post Medical Update: In every aspect of life, being a survivor is a commendable attribute. Its honorable. Figuring out how to function and prosper in spite of opposition. It is something we all strive to attain. But surviving cancer is different. You dont sit passively by while cancer quickly takes over. We fight as hard as we possibly can. We endure levels of physical and emotional pain that most people cant imagine. We punch, kick, and claw. We dont merely survive it, we conquer it. We are victors! Today, and the next day, and everyday we wake up to face this world. And as victors, we wrestle and steal every ounce of love, gratitude, and beauty out of our journeys. We hold it safe, deep within us, and use it to remind ourselves of just how beautiful life is and how lucky we are to be living it. Because of our victories, we celebrate the mundane and we see joy in the ordinary. My fears are safe here, held In His Hands...
