The focus of the seminar will be the three M’s – Money, Management & Marketing. Tuesday, October 15th (9:00am-12noon) **Registration & payment deadline 10/11/2013 at 12noon “Effective and Manageable Performance Evaluation” Presented by Toshie Ito, Motiva Training Fee: $30 per person Location: UOG Guam SBDC RM #148 Leon Guerrero SBPA Building SYSNOPSIS: We understand the importance of employee performance evaluation but many managers see it as a time-consuming task and they are uncomfortable dealing with it. Evaluation has been typically used as a score sheet to grade employee’s past action but it can be used to clarify expectations, establish company standards and motivate employees to focus on what they need to accomplish to be successful. This course provides helpful guidelines to make evaluations fair, practical, effective and future-focused. Additionally, helpful ideas to customize evaluation forms for your business or industry will be introduced so that it is measurable, comprehensive and action-oriented – which helps eliminate managers’ different interpretations and guesswork. Learn how to make performance evaluation a useful tool to upholding internal and external communication, promoting positive attitude, elevate the level of performance, and maintain proactive work environment."
