SINS REAL DEAL When I travel abroad, I book my hotels and flights on the internet, via online booking sites. And at times I get some great deals. But lately, what Ive found is that the deals dont look as good as they appear at first. I had to change hotels after a time of ministry with my hosts in Dubai. And we were well taken care of. I thought my family should stay back to have some family time. I got online as usual, searched and booked an apartment. You are first attracted by the great rates, then you book and realize the booking is not refundable, in which case you are charged in the event of a cancellation. Then you get to the hotel to check in, and since you are only charged on your check in, you realize various other hidden charges that where not explicitly stated while you booked. And at the end of the day, you find out that the great deal was not so great. But hey! This is the way of the world. And also the way of sin. Sin appears cheap and attractive at first, offering some kind of pleasure and utility, but in the end, expensive. May we find grace always to resist the pull of sin, and constantly yield our members as instruments of righteousness unto life eternal, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
