SJB U16s girls faced a tough game away to Clontarf today. Following a 40 minute delay in kick off time, Bosco were caught cold and went one down early on. They found their rythym and played some beautiful football on a sticky pitch in dreadful conditions. More of the same followed with Bosco playing smooth passes but not just getting the killer ball into the box. Some tactical changes from Willie,Karen and Lisa meant that more chances were created, but the Clontarf goal led a charmed life and they held out for their clean sheet, while Clontarf picked Boscos pocket with two late goals as the away team pushed hard for the equaliser. Nobody could fault the commitment and work ethic of this terrific Bosco team of Megan, Raluka, Ali, Rachael, Lauren, Leah, Kayleigh, Celine,Hollie,Bianca,Abbey and reserves Megan and Laura.Well done since August and have a great Christmas. We look forward to a winning return in January. Thanks to Sean and Philip who braved the Arctic conditions to cheer on the girls. UTB.
