SMOGON UPDATE Its official, Aegislash has been removed from OU and sent to Ubers... Now Smogon is Suspect testing Mega-Gengar in Ubers for two options: 1: Banning Mega-Gengar (or more specifically, Gengarite) completely, as he is unfair to the metagame with the combination of his Speed and Special Attack and Shadow Tag, along with his movepool, or; 2: Banning Shadow Tag completely from the metagame, just because you cant switch out of it. Personally, I feel both ways on this. On one hand, you should have at least one Ground/Psychic/Ghost/Dark move on a Pokemon on your team, which should be able to stop him from becoming too much of a threat. He isnt really a bulky pokemon, and I have yet to see one set up for bulkiness. One the other hand, I used him a little bit, and he seemed quite fragile, which is why I dont think he should be banned. With his huge Special Attack and Speed, I can kind of see why people want him banned, but it isnt really making a whole lot of sense. Yes, there are certain movesets that completely screw your team, but Taunt is handy at that point. Any other opinions?
