Temperatures, if you will, are heating up within Sierra Leone’s financial circles as uncertainty looms over the fate of the country’s Central Bank. Media reports last week hinted at the uneasiness among staff of the Central Bank as they contemplate the consequences of President Koroma pushing the re-appointment or the appointment of a new Governor of the Central Bank to the wire. The term of office of the present Central Bank Governor Sheku Sambadeen Sesay, expires Monday 30th June 2014.
